We are pleased to announce the arrival of Sapna Jhangiani KC, a leading international commercial disputes specialist based in Singapore.

The first female lawyer in Singapore to be appointed as a silk in England, Sapna has substantial advocacy experience in both litigation and arbitration. Formerly a partner at Clyde & Co, practising in Dubai and then Singapore, she served as International Legal Counsel at the Attorney-General’s Chambers Singapore for three years and is now retained on the Panel of Advisors to the Attorney-General.


In November, Sapna was sworn in as a new part-time judge of the Court of Appeal of the DIFC Courts. Further information on this appointment can be found here.

Sapna was called to the Bar of England & Wales in 1999, Singapore in 2019 and BVI in 2024. She became a Silk in 2020.
