The Supreme Court of Gibraltar has dismissed a constitutional challenge brought by VSB Ltd over its tenancy at Victoria Stadium in Gibraltar.
The claim sought to contend that s.66 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1983 was unconstitutional and void, and that a certificate issued pursuant to that provision was null, void and of no effect. The claim was dismissed on all grounds.
Lord Pannick KC and Jason Pobjoy KC acted for His Majesty’s Government of Gibraltar, His Excellency the Governor of Gibraltar and His Majesty’s Attorney General for Gibraltar. They were instructed by Owen Smith at TSN Law.
